Pens Vs Detroit in the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals

That title alone gives me chills! It's just unbelievable to have made a complete 180. To come from the depths of the eastern conference to having a go at the cup, I am glad to be alive and a Pens fan at this moment. The one and only reason I would ever want to stick around Pittsburgh and raise children is because of this reason right here, sports championships don't come around regularly throughout a cities history, but here, right here and now, in Pittsburgh, this team is creating a new legacy and carrying on a tradition of classy winning that fans will remember and reminisce about for years to come. Win or lose this team has brought an amazing level of excitement and pride to the city of Pittsburgh that only a sports team can bring out. People go about their ho hum drum lives day in and day out but sports has historically brought different people of different classes, genders, races, and nationalities together in cheer for one common goal, and these Penguins, these mere children have made believers out of all of us.

Badger Bob said it best,
"What a great day for hockey"...
